For a Valentine's Day shoot I wanted to use the letters L, O, V, and E and paint them in gold. I will be using these letters together and individually for my next photographic session. I went ahead and purchased a few items I needed at Michaels and Hobby Lobby, which included the letters, a wooden frame, and few spray paints.
The frame will be painted in gold, after it dries I will be adding a top layer of crackling spray to give it an antique finish look. I will be painting the other side in black finish to be able to have two different colors and finishes, that way I will have a variety to choose from.
I have also purchased a black frame at a garage sale and spray painted it in gold, but made sure to use blotchy spray to give it a unique look. (SEE IMAGES BELOW).
Wet Paint L-O-V-E in gold finish. I did several coats just to be sure I evened every angle out.
Finished L-O-V-E in Gold.

Gold wet base layer .
Crackle top quote when applied. The top coat will get crackled and you will be able to see the gold through the cracked lines which gives the frame a nice 'POP'.
